Rye Loop

The ride starts and ends in the town of Rye, first settled in 1865. It sits east of Greenhorn Mountain, the highest summit in the Wet Mountain range at 12,352 feet. The peak dominates the views on this route. You’ll ride through Cuerna Verde Park and along the eastern boundary of the San Isabel National Forest, before descending into the valley before looping back to town. Rye’s elevation at 7,000 feet makes it an ideal location to enjoy the cool breezes, and fresh crisp mountain air and water. Easy access off Interstate 25 quick access to Pueblo or for those traveling the Front Range corridor.
